Caitlin Eyre is Curator and Exhibitions Manager at JamFactory in Adelaide. JamFactory is a unique not-for-profit organisation that champions the social, cultural and economic value of Craft and Design in daily life. With studios in Ceramics, Jewellery and Metal, Glass and Furniture, JamFactory supports and promotes Australian Craft and Design through exhibitions, training programs, workshops and retail platforms. In her role, Caitlin leads the Exhibitions Team in developing and delivering exhibitions and public programs for JamFactory’s gallery spaces in Adelaide and Seppeltsfield, as well as the national touring program.
Previously holding the position of Assistant Curator at JamFactory, Caitlin has also served as the Exhibitions and Community Arts Coordinator at the Pepper Street Arts Centre. She has undertaken curatorial internships at the National Gallery of Australia (Canberra) and Galleri Heike Arndt (Berlin), as well as an editorial arts writing internship at Berlin Art Link (Berlin). In addition to her curatorial practice, Caitlin is a freelance arts writer and has written texts for a number of exhibitions, publications and online platforms.
Caitlin is a graduate of the University of Adelaide and her qualifications include a Master of Arts (Studies in Art History), Master of Arts (Curatorial and Museum Studies), Graduate Diploma in Art History and a Bachelor of Arts (Anthropology and History).
