About
Red Hot Arts opens its cosy backyard space for two nights of stories, music, film, campfire chats and all-round chill vibes. Featuring a line-up of storytellers and performers from across the world of arts, come sample some mouth-watering treats, heart-warming tales and toe-tapping tunes under the stars.
As part of the two nights of music and spoken word, there will also be a screening film/video art work by artists involved and exhibiting as part of the Australian Ceramics Triennale, Apmere Mparntwe - Pip McManus's 55 minute ICHOR on the first night, Saturday 16th (a companion or complimentary work to Night Vessel in the Clay on Country show) and J9 Stanton's 27 minute Collecting Drops about the claypans, on the second evening, Saturday 23rd July. They will play on a loop and be a 'chill-out' meditative video zone in the RHA workshop those nights.
$15 on the door, cash and card available.
